Fannborg ehf. (National ID Number: 690508-0950) manages the campsite and oversees the services provided at Highland Base Kerlingarfjöll.
•All guests are required to present their campsite reservation on arrival and on request if necessary. This may be a printed copy or on a mobile device.
•Guests may set up camp from 14:00 onwards. Early setup is not permitted unless pre-approved by the campsite staff upon arrival.
•Guests must be packed up and leave the campsite before 12:00. Late checkout may be permitted upon request. Please consult with our team on the day of departure to see if this will be possible.
•A reservation includes 1 x site for 1 x camping unit (Tent, Campervan, Trailer, or Car with roof top tent). Guests with more than 1 x camping unit must book an additional site.
•The maximum capacity for 1 x site is 6 guests. Children up to the age of 11 do not count towards the 6 guest limit. Proof of age may be requested for children up to the age of 11.
•It is strictly forbidden to resell Highland Base Campsite reservations.
•The cancellation policy for the campsite is 24 hours. All reservations cancelled more than 24 hours before arrival are eligible for a full refund, excluding an ISK 500 processing fee. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
•An overnight lodging tax of ISK 400 applies to each site, per night. Lodging tax is automatically applied to the reservation.
•All prices include VAT.
These terms and conditions and the provision of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Icelandic law. If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, unenforceable, or non-binding, all other provisions remain valid. For any legal dispute which may arise, both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and competence of the Judges and Courts of Reykjavík, Iceland.
