Located at the edge of the mountain range and on the banks of the river Ásgarðsá, the campsite is open from June 15 through September 30. It accommodates tents, campers, trailers, and cars with roof top tents. Featuring a service house with toilets, showers, a kitchen, and an outdoor grill.

GETTING HERE
The 3.5-hour drive from Reykjavík covers about 200 kilometers, mostly on gravel roads. From Route 1 (Þjóðvegur 1), turn onto Route 35 and then continue to F347. If renting a car, confirm that it is covered for travel on Iceland's mountain F roads.
