This is a pay zone area where service charge for car parking is required. The charge is based on length of stay of a vehicle determined by license plate recognition. The charge is for one day, valid until midnight each day. You can pay for up to three days in each payment transaction. For payment of more days a new transaction is needed.

Service fee is based on visiting hours of vehicles entering the area and monitored with digital surveillance.

Vehicle category is determined by the number of registered seats/passengers at the Icelandic Transport Authority.
