This is an open campsite but it's NOT FREE. Pay at Röstin restaurant or through the internet with parka.is/gardskagi.
It is forbidden to camp in any parking lots but the camping area is the big grassy field around the big lighthouse.

• Garðskagi ehf kt 4508100100 manages the campsite and is responsible for the services provided here.
• Guests must bring a printed receipt or a digital copy on a mobile device to present the receipt to the campsite staff on request.
• Guests may start setting up camp after 3 pm. If the situation allows, the operator may authorise setting up camp earlier.
• Guests must leave the campsite before 12 am. If the situation allows, the operator may authorise delayed check-outs.
• The maximum capacity for each spot is 6 people, ages 13 and older. (Children aged 12 years and younger do not count towards the maximum capacity). If the number of guests travelling together exceeds the capacity, additional spots must be reserved.
• It is strictly forbidden to resell campsite reservations.
• All prices include VAT
• These terms and conditions and the provision of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Icelandic law. If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, unenforceable or non-binding, all other provisions remain valid. Any dispute arising out of these general terms and conditions and our services shall exclusively be submitted to the competent courts in Iceland.
