Laugarhóll has a small camp site located in Bjarnarfjörður valley.
It is a very simple campsite with a small toilet shed and limited access to electricity.

The campsite is located next to Hotel Laugarholl, about 24 km north of Hólmavík. It is a quiet but lush valley near the Bjarnarfjordur river. Visitors are free from the racket of “city” life and surrounded by natural beauty. Many walking paths are close by.

Unfortunately there is only access to x6 blue electrical plugs is the bottom field, but it is strictly forbidden to charge cars at the campsite. However, a car charging station is located below the hotel.

Camp-guests can buy access to the pool, geothermal hot-spring (40°C) and shower facility at Hotel Laugarholl, which is open from 8am to 10 pm. Pool-cleaning takes place ones a week, in which case the facility is closed until 7 pm. GLASS containers are FORBIDDEN at the pool area.

The hotel facility nearby is not included in the campsite-services, but camp-guest can purchase services upon request. Guests must always respect quiet-hours on the hotel premises and at pool-area after 10 pm.

The camp site is primarily a sleeping place for campers, so travelers are asked to limit driving around the campsite.

A car charging station is located below the hotel.

Campsite Rules:

• Pay for the camp site when arriving (online or at the hotel).
• The campsite should be quiet by midnight.
• Traffic is not allowed from 23:00 until. 9:00.
• The pool area is closed at 10pm, including the hot-spring.
• At midnight the camp site has to be quiet.
• The camp site is not responsible for the properties of guests.
• Children are the responsibility of the adults they are travelling with.
• Dogs are not allowed to go free in the area.
• Public drunkenness is not allowed at the camp site or at the Camp Center.
• Garbage must be left by the container by the exit!
• Breaking these rules might cause expulsion from the camp site.
