Nestled beside the small pond at the entrance to the charming fjord town of Reyðarfjörður, Camp East offers a peaceful and scenic stop surrounded by mountains and fresh sea air. The campsite provides comfortable facilities for both campers and motorhomes, making it an ideal base for exploring East Iceland.

Facilities include hot showers, toilets, electricity hookups, washing machine, tumble dryer, outdoor tables, as well as hot and cold running water and garbage disposal. Guests also have access to a cozy kitchen unit with cooking facilities and 2 indoor tables in the seating area.

For motorhomes and camper vans with removable grey or black water tanks, a disposal point is available on the campsite between the pond and the kitchen facilities. Vehicles requiring direct drive-over drainage can use the waste disposal station at the nearby gas station, approximately 400 m from the campsite.

Please note that bookings made through the Parka app do not guarantee an electricity hookup or a specific camping spot. We recommend arriving, finding your perfect spot, and paying on site. Camp East does not accept advance reservations. We can't wait to host you at our campsites :)
