Located in the charming fjord village of Fáskrúðsfjörður, Camp East offers a peaceful and scenic stay beside a small pond, surrounded by beautiful mountains and fresh sea air. It is a simple but welcoming campsite where guests can relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Eastfjords.

Facilities include hot showers, toilets, electricity hookups and garbage disposal. We also provide waste disposal facilities for motorhomes to make your stay more comfortable and convenient.

We are continuously working on improving the campsite and despite of nt being a luxury campsite, we take pride in keeping it clean, friendly and open-hearted for everyone who stays with us.

Please note that bookings made through the Parka app do not guarantee an electricity hookup or a specific camping spot. We recommend arriving, finding your perfect spot, and paying on site. Camp East does not accept advance reservations.

The historic connection to France is big in Fáskrúðsfjörður and the streets in the town have both Icelandic and French names. The French houses were renovates in 2014 and the best known of those houses is the French hospital where the hotel is not. The town celebrates the historic connection with “French days” the last weekend in July yearly.
