Welcome to the Siglufjörður Campsite! A beautiful campsite with three locations in town – by the harbor, at Rammalóð and by Stóri boli. All locations have toilets and electricity. Showers and laundry facilities are available in the town center. Close to nature, swimming pool, and local museums. Open from May 15 to October 15, weather permitting.
Siglufjörður Campsite – Three areas, one unique town Siglufjörður Campsite offers visitors a flexible and scenic camping experience across three locations in town – by the harbor in the town center, at Rammalóð and by Stóri boli. All areas have access to electricity and toilets, and showers, washing machines, and dryers are available in the central area for guests. The harbor area in the town center is beautifully located close to restaurants, shops, and museums. Rammalóð is right across the police station, only a walking distance from the center. The Stóri boli area is located near an avalanche barrier, providing great shelter from northern winds, and lies right by a small pond and nature paths. Siglufjörður also offers a local swimming pool with both indoor and outdoor facilities, and a range of museums and cultural centers including the Herring Era Museum, the Folk Music Center, the Icelandic Poetry Center, Saga Fotografica, and more. You can book your stay in advance via Parka for the harbor and Stóri boli areas. The Rammalóð area is only available for drop-in visitors. The campsite is open from May 15 to October 15, weather permitting.
