Parking at the University of Iceland is located on the main campus in Reykjavík and is available for students, staff and visitors. Spaces are either available through a subscription or for short-term stays at an hourly rate.
Here, in the Parka app, and in payment kiosks located in most university buildings, you can pay an hourly rate for individual visits.
Staff and students can also subscribe to a long-term parking space with a monthly fee in the Parka App.
An additional Late payment fee amount 1960 kr. is added to unpaid parking and charged to the owner of the vehicle according to the tariff.
The charge is based on the length of stay monitored by cameras with license plate recognition.
Paid time is compared to license plate cameras. Vehicle owner will be charged for unpaid usage with additional cost.
