The parking lot has parking fees. Controls are performed with License Plate Recognition (LPR). Parking beyond 10 minutes requires payment. Here you can pay for parking at Fjallsjökull (7204) according to the applicable category. You can pay here on the web up to 24 hours after you leave the parking area. Parking fee is valid for 4 hours.

If payment is not received within 24 hours, an additional late payment fee (1960 ISK) is added to unpaid parking, and a claim is sent to the owner or the keeper of the vehicle.



The fee will be used to maintain the parking lot and the continued development of the area.

Service fee is based on visiting hours of vehicles entering the area and monitored with digital surveillance.

Select vehicle size and category.

Vehicle category is determined by the number of registered seats/passengers at the Icelandic Transport Authority.
