Farmhouse Lodge Campsite

Nestled in the heart of the countryside in South Iceland, near Vík, Farmhouse Lodge offers spaces for campers, for those travelling with their own tent, and equipped rental tents, all surrounded by some of the country's most spectacular landscapes.

With sweeping views of the Atlantic coastline, the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, and the famous black sand beaches of the South Coast, Farmhouse Lodge is the perfect base for exploring Iceland's most iconic attractions.

Within a short drive, guests can visit Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Dyrhólaey, Sólheimajökull Glacier, and many other natural wonders. The location also offers excellent opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, and experiencing the midnight sun in summer or the Northern Lights during the darker months.

Campsite

The campsite offers spacious areas for both tents and campervans in a peaceful countryside setting.

Space for approximately 30 tents
Two dedicated parking areas accommodating up to 25 campervans
Access to shared bathrooms and showers
Access to cooking facilities (The Barn) and communal areas

Please note that Icelandic weather can change quickly. Guests are encouraged to bring suitable outdoor clothing, including waterproof layers and warm clothing.

Pricing
2,500 ISK per person, per night (children under 15 stay free)
400 ISK per booking for the lodging tax
+2,500 ISK additional if electricity is requested

The rate includes access to the Barn (shared kitchen) and the showers. Towels are not provided but are available to rent.

All buildings are open 24 hours a day and offer Wi-Fi and plugs to charge your phone or other small devices.

Tent Rental

For guests who would like to enjoy camping without bringing their own equipment, Farmhouse Lodge offers equipped rental tents. This service must be booked directly by phone or email before arrival.

The Barn

All guests have access to The Barn, Farmhouse Lodge's communal gathering space.
